El Walid Belhannache serves as Chief Pilot at Univair Aviation, bringing more than 6,000 flight hours and over 20 years of aviation experience across corporate, charter, medevac, commercial, and special operations in Canada and North Africa.
He is a safety-focused aviation leader with a strong background in flight operations, pilot training, standardization, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Univair Aviation, he was a Training Captain on the Pilatus PC-12 NG, operating in the demanding medevac environment of Northern Canada and North America.
Earlier in his career, El Walid held senior leadership roles with Tassili Airlines in Algeria, including Head of Flight Training and Captain on the De-Havilland Dash 8, where he contributed to the development of training programs, operational manuals, and safety systems aligned with international standards.
As Chief Pilot, he is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence, with a focus on supporting pilots and ensuring consistent, reliable operations. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, he brings a strong international perspective to Univair Aviation.
